If you are interested in selling online with Whisky Auctioneer, we require that all items are brought or sent directly to our Rum Auctioneer office at:

If you would like to drop off your bottles in person at our office in Perth, you must pre-book a time slot as we operate an appointment only system. Our office is open from Monday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm. 

 

NEW SERVICE: FAST-TRACK, CONTACTLESS DROP-OFFS

We’re pleased to let you know that we’ve designed up a new way to deliver our pick-up and drop-off services from our office.  From Tuesday 9 June, you will be able to book an appointment for a fast-track, contactless pick-up or drop-off of your bottles, both saving you time and keeping you safe. Please note that this is the only service to drop-off bottles at our office and strict social distancing measures are in place.

Please note that whilst all appointments are booked through our sister-site Whisky Auctioneer and your appointment confirmation email will be sent from info@whiskyauctioneer.com, your appointment will be assigned as Rum Auctioneer.  

If you would like to drop off your bottles in person at our office in Perth, you must pre-book a time slot as we operate an appointment only system. It is essential that our Senders Form is completed and printed in advance.

What are your opening times?

We are open between the following hours:

How do I sell my rum?

To sell your rum you will firstly need to register on our website and then either deliver or post your bottle(s) to Rum Auctioneer; we do the rest! All the information you need to sell your rum can be found in our Step-by-Step Guide to Selling Rum at Auction.

How much is my rum worth?

The value of a bottle of rum is constantly fluctuating according to supply and demand. Rum Auctioneer can provide a valuation according to the latest market trends. If you would like a free, no-obligation valuation, please visit our Free Auction Estimate page.

What fees are involved for selling rum?

There is a £3 listing fee per bottle (not per lot). Once a bottle is sold, sellers pay a 5% commission on the final sale price.

If you wish to place a reserve on an item there is a fee of £4.00 per lot.

Please note VAT is charged to commission, listing and reserve fees.  VAT is not applicable to the hammer price of the whisky.
