Hampden 8 Year Old
Launched in 2018 in collaboration between the Hampden Estate and Velier, this introduced a 'core' distillery expression for this ester heavy Jamaican rum, previously only available in limited run batch bottlings.
This version is slow fermented using naturally occurring 'wild' yeast, distilled in a single pot still, aged for 8 years in the tropics and bottled without the addition of colour or sugar.
