Rhum J.M 2015 Single Barrel / PlumpJack Smuggler's Cove

A 2015 vintage rhum vieux agricole from the Distillerie JM Crassous de Medeuil in Martinique.

Agricole is a style of rum traditionally produced on the French Caribbean islands. It is distilled using freshly squeezed sugar cane juice as opposed to molasses. This was bottled in 2018 when the barrel was selected for PlumpJack by Josh & Martin of Smuggler's Cove, a restaurant and Rum Room. The cask in question was American oak.

The Distillerie JM Crassous de Medeuil has been producing rum since 1790.
