product Details

Rum Papalin Finest Blend

This was the first blended rum ever produced by Italian imported Velier. While awaiting the delivery of their 2012 stock of 12 year old Caroni to be bottled in Scotland, the company decided to create a blend using some of their existing Caroni stock and several other old Cuban and Venezuelan rums from their warehouse.

The blend was allowed to rest for a year and eventually bottled in November 2013.

Velier was founded in Genoa in 1947 as a wine and spirits imported and distributor. They selected their first single cask whiskies in 1992, bottled for them by Signatory Vintage, and have gone on to become one of the most collectible brands in the industry. Luca Gargano's involvement with the company has also positioned them as the one of the foremost authorities and bottlers of collectible rum as well.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
