product Details

Jamaica Rum 10 Year Old Plantation Grand Terroir

A well aged Jamaican rum, bottled by Maison Ferrand for the Plantation Rum brand.

A well established cognac producer, Ferrand is increasingly involved in rum production, and are now the owners of the West India Rum Distillery, giving them access to stocks of Long Pond and Clarendon through its shares in National Rums of Jamaica.

The rums were distilled on pot stills and are a 5 day fermented Plummer, and a 5 days fermented Wedderburn.

The rum was tropically aged 8 years in bourbon casks in Jamaica, and a further 2 years in 350 litre Ferrand casks at Chateuau du Bonbonnet in France.
