Port Mourant 1975 Berry Brothers and Rudd

A Port Mourant rum distilled in 1975. The Port Morant distillery in Guyana stopped production in the 1950s, with its stills moved to Uitvlugt who continued to produce rum in the same style. Uitvlugt is now also closed, but the Port Mourant still lives on to this day, in use at Guyana's only remaining distillery, Diamond.

Berry Brothers and Rudd is a firm steeped in history. They were established in the late 17th century, and received a Royal Warrant from King Edward VII in 1903. The company has been bottling single malt whisky from almost as early as that, with an increasingly impressive rum output these days as well.

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
