Hampden LROK 2010 Habitation Velier 9 Year Old Single Cask #215 / Salon du Rhum
LROK, as this bottle is labelled, is a Hampden distillery cask mark identifying a rum with 350-450 esters.
Distilled in 2010 on the double retort pot still, this was fully matured for 9 years at the Jamaican distillery.
Bottled in 2016 for Salon du Rhum by Velier as part of their Habitation Velier range, this is one of a number of single casks bottled in late 2019 for various distributors and festivals.
Velier was founded in Genoa in 1947 as a wine and spirits importer and distributor. They selected their first single cask whiskies in 1992, bottled for them by Signatory Vintage, and have gone on to become one of the most collectible brands in the industry. Luca Gargano's involvement with the company has also positioned them as the one of the foremost authorities and bottlers of collectible rum as well.
One of 250 bottles.
