Domaine de Courcelles 1972 Rhum Vieux
The Courcelles distillery closed in 1964, with its alembic pot still moved to the Distillerie Sainte Marthe, which in turn was closed in 1974. The barrels were then long-forgotten until being discovered in 1998 and moved to the Poisson distillery in Marie-Galante. They have since been bottled by a select few companies, and these releases are increasingly sought after.
This was bottled by Kitrad, the parent company of Distillerie Poisson, and the cap bears the name of their flagship Pere Labat brand.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
