Black Bart XO Rum
An XO aged rum from the Pirates Collection this bottle celebrates Black Bart
Barthelomew Roberts was originally from Wales and had been at sea for around 20 years when he was captured by the pirate Howell Davis off the coast of Guinea in 1718. A few weeks later, the pirates on the island of Príncipe were lured into an ambush by the local governor. Howell Davis was killed in the process and the rest of the troop fled out to sea. Roberts had quickly earned the crew's respect and was chosen as the new leader. Black Bart has captured over 400 ships during his time as leader, making him one of the greatest pirate captains of all time.
