French Rhum Demi John
A fantastic piece of distilling history.
Though not replete with information the liquid is filled in a glass bottle encased in wicker. Though leather tag suspended from the handle is absent it would originally have told the bottling date. The vendor has provided evidence of when the tag was present, with suggests a bottling date of 1946.
We surmise that this is likely an Agricole Rhum from the French Caribbean.
There is no volume stated but we estimate the volume to be one gallon
Shipping will be charged at 5 bottles on this lot.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
