Not to be confused with the larger Damoiseau distillery in the Bellevue estate of Grane-Terre, the Bellevue distillery is located at the heart of the largest sugarcane plantation on Marie Galante, a neighbouring island of the Guadeloupe archipelago. It was established in 1821 and today produces white and aged rum agricole on its continuous column still. Bellevue was the first fully eco-friendly distillery in the Caribbean, committing to recycling 100% of its waste products.
