A wine wholesaler and distributor, founded in 1822 by Joseph Ellis and based in the Richmond are of London. The company also had spirits brands that included Vat 99 Scotch whisky and Admiral's rum. The company merged with Warren & Co in 1978 to become Ellis of Richmond, today trading as Ellis Wines.
