Compagnie de Bonbonnet

Compagnie de Bonbonnet SAS is a French multinational founded in 2014 by Alexandre Gabriel. In doing so, it became the parent company for his other businesses which include Cognac Ferrand SASU (which trades as Maison Ferrand), producer of the Planteray rum label.

In 2016 it incorporated United Caribbean Rum Ltd as a subsidiary in Barbados, which acquired West Indies Rum Distillery Ltd from Goddard Enterprises the following year. The purchase included the company's one-third share of National Rums of Jamaica Ltd, giving it a stake in the Long Pond and Clarendon distilleries as well. Its rum brands through United Caribbean Rum include Canerock and Stade's.
