La Maison du Whisky

La Maison du Whisky (often referred to as LMDW) is the trading name for the French company, Soc. Nouvelle Produit Aliment. It was founded in 1956 by Thierry Benitah and operates a retail operation online and through "boutiques" on the Parisian streets of Rue d'Anjou, Carrefour de l'Odéon and Rue Tiquetonne.

The company is also a significant independent bottler, importer and distributor. Its brands - which include the Transcontinental Rum Line series - are managed through a branch called LMDW Creations and via its La Maison & Velier (LM&V) partnership.
