Maria-Galanda Societe Agricole was a company founded in 1995 by Hubert Damoiseau, a descendant of Gabriel Godefroy and owner of the Bellevue distillery. It was initially a partnership with the Ernstein group which owned the estate's sugar factory.
In 2001, Damoiseau sold a 78% majority share in the distillery to the Bardinet division of COFEPP. Maria-Galanda Societe Agricole was then subsequently dissolved in 2012.
