Ron Barceló SRL is a company originally founded in Spain as the global distributor of the Barceló rum brand. It is a co-venture between Grupo Vargas and Destilerías MG and was established in 2001.
In 2003 it acquired a 51% majority stake in Añejos Barceló (formerly Barceló & Co) to give it ownership of the brand in the Dominican Republic where it has ageing facilities in San Pedro de Macorís.
