SAEM PRSM

Société Anonyme d’Economie Mixte de Production Sucrière et Rhumière de la Martinique (SAEM PRSM) is a Martinique company established in 1984 in order to take over operations at the Le Galion sugar factory and rum distillery in La Trinité. It produces and markets Le Galion branded rums through a subsidiary called Société de Production et de Commercialisation des Rhums du Galion.

The company is majority owned by the Martinique government, with the French multinational COFEPP as the largest minority shareholder (owner of Saint James and Depaz).
