St Andrews Whisky Company

St Andrews Whisky Company was a short-lived business established in 2014. It was founded by Peter Wood - owner of the St Andrews Wine Company - after he spotted a gap in the market for an independent bottling brand that celebrated the town's heritage without mawkishly focussing on golf. Only a single rum bottling was produced, however, branded as the St Andrews Rum Company.

The company was dissolved in 2015 and a new one of the same name was then incorporated by the owners of the St. Andrews Brewing Company.
