Wax & Vitale

Wax & Vitale was one of the largest and most historically significant Scotch whisky importers in Italy. It was originally founded in 1889 by Maurizio Wax and his cousin, Mosè Vitale, and specialised in canning fish and exporting pesto before diversifying into Scotch whisky, brandy and rum.

Although its flagship imports were probably the Johnnie Walker Scotch blended Scotch brands, the company also notably brought Bacardi to Italy.
