Celebration Distillation

Celebration Distillation was an American rum distillery that was for many years the oldest operating craft rum distiller on the US mainland. Sadly a fire broke out on the premises in May 2021 and it has never re-opened. Located in New Orleans, the distillery was founded in 1995 by a local artist called James Michalopoulos and interestingly used pot still created from old dairy tanks.

The distillery launched its first rum brand in 1999 and its flagship labels were called Old New Orleans and N.O. It also produced a range of liqueurs and pre-mixed cocktails.
