The Whisky Exchange has been selecting rums from the Private Cask Selection programme at Foursquare distillery since 2019. Interestingly, its bottlings are the only ones that feature their own unique names in the style of the distillery's popular Exceptional Cask Selection series.

The first release was the bourbon and sherry-casked Hereditas, followed by bourbon and Madeira-casked Diadem in 2020 and another bourbon and sherry-casked expression called Elysium in 2022.

This 2020 release is part of the Private Cask Selection range and was the second special bottling for The Whisky Exchange, following on from 2018's Hereditas. Diadem was matured in a combination of bourbon and Madeira casks.
