Australian Rum
Australian Rum was a Baker blend produced from three different types of Jamaican rums. Its unusual name was derived from its popularity with visiting Australian sailors, although it was later rebranded as Blue Swan.
A.A. Baker & Co
A spirits merchant established by Arthur Arnold Baker in London in 1898. It opened a branch in Trieste in 1907 that established rum brands such as Battle Axe and Australian Rum. It was acquired by Antonini & Fragiacomo in 1968 and reincorporated as Baker SpA.
