Everglades Farms

Everglades Farms Ltd is a a Jamaican company established by the Hussey family in 2004. The company is the owner of both the Long Pond and Hampden sugar estates, however is only the proprietor of the distillery at the latter which it acquired it in 2009.

The company introduced the Hampden Estate brand in 2010 by debuting Rum Fire, followed by Rum Fire Velvet and Gold in 2012. These were sold in Jamaica until it then reached an agreement with La Maison & Velier in 2018 to distribute a refreshed version of the brand in key export markets.
