Blackwell

Blackwell is a brand of Jamaican rum, distilled and blended by J. Wray & Nephew on behalf of Well Black Spirits in the US. The brand is named after company founder, Chris Blackwell, the famed founder of reggae record label, Island Records.

The core Blackwell rum is known as Black Gold and was introduced in 2008. Chris Blackwell is also the owner of Ian Flemming's former Jamaican residence, GoldenEye, and used the connection to release an official James Bond 007 collaboration in 2020 to mark the 60th anniversary of the release of the Dr. No movie.
