Revolte

Revolte is a brand of rum produced in Westhofen, Germany by the Kaltenthaler distillery. Rum distilling first took place at the distillery under the management of third-generation distiller, Felix Georg Kaltenthaler, and Revolte was introduced to the market in 2015.

The rum is produced using molasses imported from Papua New Guinea, which is then fermented for 12-13 days and distilled in Kaltenthaler's hybrid pot still. The unaged rum is rested for six months in earthenware containers and bottled in batch releases. Some vintage single casks have also been made available.
