Kaltenthaler

Kaltenthaler distillery is a craft spirits producer located in Westhofen, Germany. It traces its origins in 1991 when Georg Franz Kaltenthaler began distilling fruit brandies on his winery in Worms. The venture had early success and with Georg unable to cope with the demand for his wine, vinegar and now spirits, he entrusted the distilling operation to his son Hermann, while his other son Frank eventually took on the winery. Hermann then built the Kalenthaler distillery in Westhofen in 1999.

The distillery is today run by third-generation Felix Georg Kalenthaler (son of Frank and nephew of Hermann), who joined as its distiller in 2014. He introduced rum distilling straight away, launching the Revolte brand the following year. It also produces schnapps, gin and liqueurs.
