William Hinton

William Hinton is a brand of agricola da Madeira rum produced by Engenho Novo da Madeira Lda at their distillery on the famous wine-producing Portuguese island. Launched in 2017, the brand is named after the founder of the Fábrica do Torreão which produced rum until its closure in 1986. The rum used from the brand is produced on the original distillery's column still, which it restored in 2007.

The rum is produced by the Engenho Novo distillery and is available both unaged and in 9-month and 3-year-old expressions. These are supported by various vintage and single cask limited editions.
