Barbero 1891 S.pA. was a former Italian wine and spirits company that was originally founded as Fratelli Barbieri in 1891. This iteration of the company was formed in the early 1990s when it was merged with Barbero S.p.A. by the Irish-based multinational, Cantrell & Cochrane (now known as C&C Group).
The company was best-known for its Aperol apéritif, however also marketed several rum labels as well. In 2003 it was sold back to Italian ownership in the form of the Campari Group and has since been folded into its wider operations there.
