E.C. Oxenham & Cy

E.C. Oxenham & Cy Ltd was established in Mauritius in 1932 by Edward Clark Oxenham. The company was originally a wine and spirits importer, and this remains its primary activity today. Over the years it has moved into production as well however, beginning to make wine in 1964 and obtaining its Distiller Bottler license in 1987.

The company opened the Oxenham craft distillery in 2010, where it produces a range of rum, gin, vodka and liqueurs. Its rum brands include Baccara, Bougainville and Frégate.
