Rhum Bally SARL

Rhum Bally SARL is a former Martinique company, established in 1986. It was set up as a holding company for the ownership of the J. Bally brand following its acquisition by the Hayot family's Distillerie du Simon SA, which would also assume responsibility for its production. The previous owners were Établissements Lajus and the historic company (at the time run by Jacques Bally's grandson) retained a 15% shareholding.

The company was later acquired in its entirety by Rémy Cointreau in 1996, who merged it into its Rhums Martiniquais Saint-James subsidiary.
