Rhum Rhum SAS

Rhum Rhum SAS was a former rum company based at the Bielle distillery on Marie-Galante, Guadeloupe. It was founded in 2011 as a co-venture between the Bielle distillery owners (Dominique and Jerome Thierry), Vittorio Capovilla and Velier SpA. The company was responsible for the production of the Rhum Rhum brand of pot-distilled rhum agricole, produced on specially designed bain-marie copper stills.

The business was eventually dissolved in 2021 as Bielle exited the project. Ownership of the Rhum Rhum brand was then transferred to a company called Newco (a 50:50 partnership between Capovilla and Velier) and the stills were relocated to the neighbouring Poisson distillery.
