Next auction starts Friday, 06 March. Ready to sell your rum? Sell with us in our next auction
Discover and bid on unique, rare and collectible rums in our online auctions each month.
Extended for an extra week and running until 29 December, this month brings an exceptional line-up of rare and historic rums.
Leading the highlights is an incredibly old and seldom-seen Cadenhead’s Green Label 1939 Demerara Rum, a bottling likely drawn from Royal Navy stock and one of the oldest Demeraras ever to appear in our auction. We are also excited to present a lesser-seen bottling of Grand-Fonds Galion Grand Arôme from the 1960s — a rare molasses-based rum from Martinique’s Le Galion distillery, offering a flavour profile far removed from the agricole style the island is known for today. Alongside this sits the Caroni 1974 Full Proof 34 Year Old Heavy, one of the oldest and most sought-after vintage Caronis we see and a real prize for Velier collectors.
Collectors of long-lost distilleries will also be thrilled to see the Domaine de Courcelles 1972 Grande Réserve Édition 2014 Rhum Vieux — an exceptionally rare bottling from Sainte-Marthe in Guadeloupe, the former sugar factory and distillery that produced industrial molasses rum until its closure in 1974. This 1972 vintage comes from the legendary batch distilled on the original Domaine de Courcelles pot still, moved to Sainte-Marthe after the Courcelles estate closed.
Adding even more excitement is a true one-off: the Fiji 2001 Fireworks Collection No.13 Magnum (1.5L) — a unique 1-of-1 bottling released to celebrate 20 years of Whisky Live Paris. Distilled at South Pacific using pot stills originally from Willowbank Distillery in New Zealand, it’s a fascinating piece of crossover history and a great opportunity for collectors of limited editions.
Finally, fans of The Duchess will be delighted — this month features one of the most complete selections we’ve ever presented across their thoughtfully curated series, including the full Hummingbird and Tropical Flower editions.
