Next auction starts Friday, 12 September. Ready to sell your rum? Sell with us in our next auction
Discover and bid on unique, rare and collectible rums in our online auctions each month.
You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.
Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum. If someone bids above your set limit, we’ll notify you by email so you can choose whether to increase your bid.
Placing a Single Bid
Alternatively, place a single bid by selecting the button on the right side of the bidding panel. The button displays the amount needed for the next increment. For example, if the current highest bid is £50.00, the button will show "+ £5.00" (reflecting a £5.00 increment).
Incremental Bidding Explained
Our system increases bids based on preset increments, as shown in the table below, whether you set a maximum bid or make a single bid.
Worthy Park Rum XO West Indies Rum and Cane Merchants
Located in the Lluidas Vale of Jamaica’s Saint Catherine parish, the Worthy Park Estate is a sprawling 100,000 acres of land, around 40% of which is dedicated to sugar cultivation. Records indicate that rum production commenced there as far back as 1741 and took place there for 220 years before the original distillery was shut down due to an oversupply of Jamaican rum following the second world war. Amazingly, in 340 years the estate has been owned by just three different families, the most recent being the Clarke’s, who bought it in 1918. Gordon, the great-grandson of the first Worth Park Clarke submitted plans for a new state of the art distillery in 2005, which produced its first spirit two years later. It produces pure single rum from its own estate molasses on its sole double-retort pot still from Forsyths in Scotland. The distillery’s first brand was titled Rum Bar, before the casks initially laid down for ageing became Worthy Park’s first official release under their own name when the Estate Reserve was announced at RumFest in 2017.
Bottled by West Indies Rum and Cane Merchants
A Jamaican rum distillery located within the Worthy Park Estate. The area has a long history of rum production, however the current distillery opened in 2007. It is notable for being entirely self-sufficient in molasses, and its brands include Worthy Park and Rum Bar.
A brand of independently bottled rums, originally launched as West Indies Rum & Cane Merchants. It is bottled for and marketed by distributor, Crucial Drinks, and its releases are divided between batches of regional rum and single cask bottlings.
