Worthy Park
Worthy Park is one of Jamaica's more recently established distilleries, however it is located within an estate with a rum producing history that dates back to at least 1741. It is owned by the Clarke family through Worthy Park Estate Ltd, and it commenced production in 2007.
The distillery is entirely self-sufficient in molasses produced on the estate, which are fermented and distilled on its sole double-retort pot still from Forsyths in Scotland. In addition to its eponymous brand of premium aged rums, the distillery also sells white and gold rum under the Rum Bar name.
The Worthy Park brand name is reserved for the distillery's aged rums. Its inaugural release was its Single Estate Reserve, which continues to be its proprietary offering to this day. It was launched in 2017 at the annual RumFest event in London, England.
Its core range is rounded out by Worthy Park Select and 109, which are supported by regular cask-finished and vintage limited editions.
