This bottle contains rum that was distilled at in Jamaica on 9th September 1949. The liquid was then moved to the much cooler climate of Scotland where it was bottled by United Distillers at Dumbarton distillery in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
A former British rum company that was established in 1946 through the merger of Alfred Lamb & Son, Lemon Hart & Son, Henry White & Co and Portal, Dingwall & Norris. Its flagship brands were the Lamb's and Lemon Hart Labels, however these were sold in the early 21st century and company dissolved.
