This is part of the Trilogy series of single cask Caroni, a set of Velier bottlings produced for the 60th anniversary of La Maison du Whisky in 2016.
This was distilled at Caroni 1996 and is an example of its HTR (heavy) style, distilled on its Indian mash column still. The bottles were filled for Velier in Scotland at Benriach distillery after fully ageing in tropical weather in Trinidad.

A trio of single cask Caroni bottling by Velier SpA, produced exclusively for La Maison du Whisky to commemorate its 60th anniversary. Of the three casks, two are heavy type Caroni while the other is a blend of heavy and light. Two were partly aged in Guyana with the other solely in Trinidad.
