A large distillery on the Grande-Terre island of the Guadeloupe archipelago, also often known as Damoiseau after its flagship rum brand. The distillery operates three column stills and produces both agricole rum as well as molasses-derived spirit during the months outside of cane-cutting season.
Damoiseau
A historic brand of rhum blanc and rhum vieux agricole, distilled at the Belleve-Hurel estate in Guadeloupe. It was first introduced by Roger Damoiseau in 1953 and remains a family-owned enterprise to this day, produced and marketed through its SODAF holding company.
Rhum Damoiseau SAS
A rum company based in Guadeloupe, founded in 2007 by the Damoiseau family and managed as part of its holding company, SODAF. The business manages the production of its historic Damoiseau brand and the distillery upon the Bellevue-Hurel estate where it is made.
