Company
XM is a very old brand of Guayana rum, mostly sold within is domestic market. The label was first introduced in the early 1900s by D'Aguiar Bros and remains in production today by Banks DIH Ltd (a company formed in 1969 through the merger of D'Aguiar Bros DIH and Banks Breweries). None of the brands owners have ever had a distillery so the XM brand has always been a blend of rums sourced from the nation's various producers, nowadays solely Demerara Distillers Ltd.
The current XM range comprises a number of age statements between 5- and 21-years-old.
