Alcoholes del Istmo SA

Alcoholes del Istmo SA is a company established in Panama in 1997 in order to acquire Azucares y Alcholos SA and its distillery in Las Cabras. Today it is a subsidiary of the Nicaraguan multinational as is known as SER Alcoholes, a brand of its sugar, rum and energy businesses across central America.

The company established a subsidiary in 2009 called Consorcio Licorero Nacional SA, which managed the ageing and blending of its rum inventory, headed up by Francisco Jose Fernandez Perez (better known as Don Pancho).
