Ardent Spirit

Ardent Spirit Ltd is a holding company established in 2019 by Michael Bain and its subsidiaries include the Burn o'Bennie distillery and the Ardent Spirit independent bottling brand. Burn o'Bennie was opened in 2020 as the purpose-built successor to the Deeside distillery, and it produces rum on an innovative iStill.

The company is primarily interested in Scotch whisky, however it continues to market the Devil's Point rum brand that was first produced at Deeside.
