Barikenn

Barikenn is a French independent bottling company specifically dedicated to rum. It was founded in 2019 by Nicolas Manx in Lannion in the region of Brittany and the name, Barikenn, is derived from the Breton word for "barrel."

Manx fell in love with the spirit on a trip to Guadeloupe where he discovered the local rhum agricole, and conceived of the idea for Barikenn to provide a range of rums that were more challenging than those reduced to 40% ABV, but more approachable than those bottled at cask strength. His inaugural releases were two single casks, one from Foursquare in Barbados and a Jamaica rum from Worthy Park.
