Brown-Forman Corporation

Brown-Forman Corporation is an American multinational established in 1870 by George Garvin Brown and his brother, John Thompson Street Brown. It made its fortune in the American whiskey trade via its Old Forester bourbon label, later acquiring the Jack Daniel's distillery in Tennessee. It now owns a varied spirits portfolio that includes Scotch whiskies, tequila, vodka and gin.

It made its first foray into the rum industry in 2023, acquiring the Diplomático brand from Destillers United Group SL (who still produce it for them at their distillery in Venezuela).
