J. Gow is a rum distillery on Lamb Holm, a tiny 0.15km island in the Orkney Isles of Scotland. Taking its name from an 18th century pirate who was raised in Stromness, the distillery is owned by VS Distillers Ltd and was established in 2017 by company founder, Collin Van Schayk.

The distillery produces pure single rums using imported molasses and a pair of high-tech 2000-litre hybrid pot stills from the manufacturer, iStill.

The distillery's rum is bottled and marketed using the J. Gow brand name. It was first launched in October 2017 with the release of its first spiced rum. This was followed in 2018 by Fading Light, an aged rum bottled from highly reactive Chestnut wood casks that mature spirit more rapidly than oak.

The distillery first oak-aged releases then followed in 2020 with the first volume of its Hidden Depths series, and a core range batch release called Revenge was added the following year. It is joined by the unaged Culverin and various limited editions.
