River Antoine Estate

The River Antoine distillery is located within the estate of the same name and has been producing rum since 1785. It is currently owned by a group of local investors, headed by Shirley Richards through a company called RDF Enterprises Ltd.

The distillery is famously traditional in its methods, using no electricity in the production of its rum. Its wood-fired, double-retort pot stills are built from a variety of parts from Forsyths, Vendome and John Dore, and produce cane juice rum that is sold under the Rivers brand name.
