Next auction starts Friday, 10 October. Ready to sell your rum? Sell with us in our next auction
Discover and bid on unique, rare and collectible rums in our online auctions each month.
You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.
Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum. If someone bids above your set limit, we’ll notify you by email so you can choose whether to increase your bid.
Placing a Single Bid
Alternatively, place a single bid by selecting the button on the right side of the bidding panel. The button displays the amount needed for the next increment. For example, if the current highest bid is £50.00, the button will show "+ £5.00" (reflecting a £5.00 increment).
Incremental Bidding Explained
Our system increases bids based on preset increments, as shown in the table below, whether you set a maximum bid or make a single bid.
Versailles SXG 14 Year Old That Boutique-y Rum Company Batch #3
A demerara rum distilled at Diamond distillery in Guyana. This was distilled in 2004, shipped unaged to the UK and filled into recycled rum barrels. It was then refilled into more recycled rum barrels in 2011. The marque on the casks was KFM, which historically related ot the Lusignan sugar estate.
Bottled as a 14 year old by That Boutique-y Rum Company, sister brand to the Whisky and Gin bottlers of the same nomenclature, famed for their irreverent graphic novel style labels.
Established around 1670, the Diamond Estate is the only remaining rum distiller in Guyana. Located on the east bank of the Demerara river, the distillery is operated by Demerara Distillers Ltd (DDL), the company created by the government in Guyana as it attempted to consolidate the nation’s rum production. This began in 1974 and culminated with the closure of Uitvlugt in 1999, which saw Guyana’s “Heritage Stills” moved from there to Diamond. This was distilled on the Versailles single wooden pot still. It is constructed from Greenheart wood, which is native to Guyana and is mostly used in boat-building due to its ability to remain strong while constantly wet. The wood is also well suited to distilling, stripping spirit of sulphites in the same manner that copper does. The Versailles and Port Mourant double wooden pot still are the last of their kind still in operation. The Versailles still is so-called as it started life at the distillery of the same name. The still dates from the 1890s, and operated at Versailles until its closure in 1978. From there it moved to Enmore, which closed in 1993, and then to Diamond via a brief stint at Uitvlugt as well.
The only remaining rum distillery in Guyana and the producer of the El Dorado brand. Currently owned and operated by Demerara Distillers Ltd, the distillery is home to a number of the country's famous heritage stills, several of which are constructed out of wood.
An independent bottling label produced by Atom Brands. The label was inspired by the company's popular That Boutique-y Whisky Company range, which it launched in 2012. Their releases are widely recognised and revered for their use of comic book-style graphic labels.
One of a trio of companies within the Kent-based Atom Group umbrella, which also includes the distributor, Maverick Drinks, and online retail arm, Master of Malt. Atom Brands manages the production of the company's own label spirits, which include its various popular That Boutique-y products.
