Bacardi Nassau
A former Bacardi Limited distillery located in the Bahamas. It was operational from 1966 until 2009 when it was closed down in order to consolidate the company's operations at its larger Puerto Rico plant.
Bacardi
A rum brand originally created in Cuba in 1862. The Bacardi company's assets were seized by Fidel Casto's government in 1960 and it has never returned to the island. Despite this, it has gone from strength to strength over its long history and is now the best-selling rum label in the world.
Bacardi & Company
The reconstituted Bacardi company, established in Nassau in 1960 following its Cuban assets having been seized by Fidel Castro's government. The operation continued as the company's branch in The Bahamas until 1992 when it and others were merged into the Bermuda-based Bacardi Limited.
