Bacardi

Bacardi is the world's best-known and best-selling rum brand. It was originally devised by Don Facundo Bacardí Massó in 1862 when he acquired the historic distillery in Santiago de Cuba. Incidentally included in the purchase was a colony of roosting bats in the facility's roof, which are today the instantly recognisable brand logo. The rum is mostly produced in Puerto Rico, although the company also has a distillery in Mexico and formerly also distilled Bacardi in Spain, The Bahamas and Canada.

The current Bacardi range is lead by its flagship Carta Blanca white rum, supported by Black, Gold, Spiced, a range of liqueurs and its premium Reserva range.
