The oldest vintage in this series of Caroni rums from Velier, this is an example of the distillery's lighter style LWR mark (often thought to mean "Local White Rum"). It was distilled in the Blair column still in 1974 and bottled for Velier in France in 2008.

An Italian importer and distributor founded in Genoa in 1947. Under the ownership of Luca Gargano since 1986, it has become one of the most important companies in the world rum. It represents a huge array of brands in Europe as well as marketing a number of its own.
A collection of numbered releases of Caroni rum from the historic lost distillery on Trinidad. They were bottled and marketed by the Italian distributor, Velier, and released between 2005 and 2019, culminating with the 39th, The Last Caroni.
