A historic rum distillery that was once owned by British sugar merchant, Tate & Lyle, before being nationalised by the Trinidadian government in the 1970s. It eventually closed in 2003 and the last of the distillery's stock and its brand name were acquired by Italian distributor, Velier.
An independent brand of blended and single cask rums. The label was devised by Neil Mathieson at Eaux de Vie Ltd and it nowadays part of the Marussia Beverages group following its acquisition of it in 2010. The brand has two permanent expressions, an XO Jamaican blend and Panama rum called Chiriquí.
A import and bottling company established in 2001 by Neil Mathieson as a subsidiary of Eaux de Vie Ltd. As of 2010 it has been part of the Marussia Beverages group and it remains the named bottler of the Mezan rum brand which it introduced in the early 2000s.
