Caroni
A historic rum distillery that was once owned by British sugar merchant, Tate & Lyle, before being nationalised by the Trinidadian government in the 1970s. It eventually closed in 2003 and the last of the distillery's stock and its brand name were acquired by Italian distributor, Velier.
Schotman
An unusual brand of peated rum, produced for Distill-Eric in the Netherlands. The label was the brainchild of Eric Koster and the first peated rum spirit was distilled for him at Distilleerderij de Bronckhorst. The label also offer independent single casks under its Barrel Selection banner.
Distill-Eric
A Dutch rum company founded in 2021 by Eric Koster and based in 's-Heerenberg. Its primary business is the bottlings and marketing of its Schotman brand of peated rum, however it also acts as an independent bottler, releasing single casks under the Schotman Barrel Selection label.
